Viviann Stapp is experienced in handling complex litigation in federal and state courts and in private arbitrations. Prior to joining Brune & Richard, Ms. Stapp was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP from 2004 to 2009. Ms. Stapp has experience defending individual and corporate clients in cases involving securities fraud, professional negligence, and breaches of fiduciary duty. Her cases have involved allegations of cash recycling, improper revenue recognition, options backdating, and mortgage and subprime-related fraud. Ms. Stapp earned a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2004, where she was a member of the Edwin F. Mandel Criminal and Juvenile Justice Clinic. Ms. Stapp graduated with Distinction in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Yale University in 2001.
