Kendra Melrose joined Brune & Richard in May 2009. Prior to
working at Brune & Richard, Ms. Melrose was an associate at
Latham & Watkins LLP, where she represented individual and
corporate clients in federal criminal prosecutions, regulatory
investigations, and complex commercial litigation matters.
Ms. Melrose received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where
she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a member of the
Columbia Journal of Environmental Law. During law school, Ms.
Melrose served as an extern for the Honorable Barbara S. Jones
in the United States District Court for the Southern District of
New York. She was the recipient of a Barker Fellowship and held
a year-long internship with the Humane Society of the United
States.
Ms. Melrose graduated magna cum laude from Princeton
University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. During
college, Ms. Melrose was the recipient of a Bain-Swiggett Prize,
a Morris W. Croll Prize, and a Princeton University Junior Award
for her writing.
