Claire Coleman

Claire Coleman has experience in a wide range of civil and
white-collar criminal matters. She has litigated claims of
false advertising, patent infringement, securities fraud, OFAC
violations, and breach of contract, among other matters.
Prior to joining Brune & Richard, Ms. Coleman was associated
with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP for three years. For one
year, she served as the firm's Pro Bono Fellow, litigating
federal civil rights claims on behalf of indigent clients.
From 2003 to 2004, Ms. Coleman served as law clerk to the
Honorable Ellen Bree Burns, Senior United States District Judge
for the District of Connecticut.
Ms. Coleman graduated cum laude from Northwestern University
School of Law in 2003, where she was elected to Order of the
Coif. While in law school, she served as a Note and
Comment Editor of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology,
and was a criminal law teaching assistant. She was also a
summer associate at Jenner & Block LLP, and externed for the
Honorable Wayne R. Andersen in the U.S. District Court for the
Northern District of Illinois.
Ms. Coleman earned her B.A. in government from Cornell
University. Between college and law school, Ms. Coleman
served as a Team Leader for Americorps National Civilian
Community Corps.
Ms. Coleman is a member of the Civil Rights Committee of
the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
